Bush walks:
As you would have noticed the weather is becoming increasingly fine consistently day after day, so why not make the most of it and get out there and explore some of wellington bush tracks, you could even pack a lunch and make a day of it, there is nothing more satisfying that getting some fresh air into the system which is good for the mind, body and soul
Outdoor games:
Another way to get the family active and working together is outdoor games, not only would it be fun but you would be keeping or getting fit without even knowing because you would be having too much fun! Even extend the invitation to friends and extended family, the more the merrier, here are just a few options:
1) Touch rugby
2) Cricket
3) Slow pitch/softball
4) Soccer
Beaches:
There are some fantastic beaches around wellington and with the sort of heat we’ve been experiencing these days, a swim in the ocean seems like a great idea to cool off and have some fun together, maybe even an ice cream to go with it
Bike ride:
If you are fortunate enough that the whole family has a bicycle, then why not take it out on the road and clock-up some mileage, wellington has a beautiful coastline that on a beautiful and sunny day is priceless.
